At CorpusCalculator.com, we are committed to building high-fidelity tools that respect developer-level privacy standards. We understand that your retirement plans, income metrics, and assets are highly confidential. Our infrastructure is built to run calculations locally, ensuring you can calculate your financial runway without data harvesting.
1. Zero Phone-Number & Lead Collection
Unlike commercial banking or insurance calculators, we do not require your phone number, full name, or financial broker details to view your compounding outcomes.
- We do not sell leads to insurance companies or mutual fund distributors.
- You will never receive marketing calls, unsolicited WhatsApp messages, or credit pitches as a result of using this website.
2. How We Store Your Calculations
Depending on your workspace level, your financial variables are stored as follows:
Free Workspace Users
All inputs (assets, salary, inflation rates, returns) are held strictly in your local browser storage (localStorage). No data leaves your machine. Clearing your browser cache permanently removes these variables.
Pro Pass Users
Creating a Pro account stores your email and a hashed password with our database provider (Supabase), along with your Pro Pass status and expiry date, and a record of the payment itself (transaction ID, amount, and date -- never your card, UPI, or bank details). Your actual retirement scenarios and inputs are not synced to our servers -- they stay in your browser's local storage, exactly like the free workspace. Use the Export/Import buttons to move a scenario between devices yourself; that file never passes through our servers. You may request total account deletion at any time. Buying Pro needs an account.
3. Payment Processing Security
Transactions for the Pro Pass are handled securely.
- All transactions are processed through Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator.
- CorpusCalculator.com does not record, store, or view your credit card credentials, bank account numbers, or UPI PINs. We only receive Razorpay's confirmation that a payment succeeded, which we verify cryptographically before activating your Pro Pass.
- As part of RBI-mandated payment verification, Razorpay may ask for a mobile number during checkout to send a one-time password. This is collected and processed directly by Razorpay, not by CorpusCalculator.com, and is never added to our marketing lists.
4. Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what device they use, and which buttons they click (for example, opening the workspace, clicking a Pro feature, or completing a checkout). Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell visits apart.
Google Analytics never receives your financial inputs or results: no income, expenses, balances, ages, or plan values are sent to it.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram and use the Meta Pixel to measure those ads. It tells Meta when someone who saw or clicked our ads visits a page, finishes the retirement check, starts a checkout or buys, so Meta can show our ads to people likely to find them useful and report which ads work. The Meta Pixel sets its own cookie (_fbp) and is covered by Meta's privacy policy. Like Google Analytics, it never receives your financial inputs or results. You can limit ad tracking in your Facebook ad settings.
Beyond analytics and ad measurement, we only set the cookies needed to keep you signed in. You can block analytics and the pixel with any standard ad or tracker blocker, and the calculators keep working.
5. If You Ask Us to Email Your Result
On the retirement check you can ask us to email your result. This is the only time your figures leave your device, and only because you asked: the figures on the results screen (the corpus you need, what you're on track for, the age your savings last to and your monthly spending) are sent through our email provider, Brevo, to write that one email. We don't store them, although Brevo keeps standard delivery logs.
We keep your email address, whether you ticked "send me tips", which ad or link brought you (for example "meta"), and when we last emailed you. We only send follow-up tips if you ticked that box, every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share your address.
6. Data Erasure Rights
You hold total sovereignty over your calculations. If you have registered a Pro Pass account and wish to permanently erase your account, passwords, and saved scenarios from our servers, you can initiate a deletion request via the address below. The same goes for removing your email address from our result emails and tips: support@corpuscalculator.com.
